What PromoRun collects
Account and profile information, business campaign briefs, Runner Card information, payment-provider identifiers, support messages, and assignment evidence such as photos, location coordinates, timestamps, tracking IDs, and review notes.
How information is used
We use information to operate the marketplace, match qualified runners, validate permitted work, prevent duplicate or fraudulent proof, process campaign funding and payouts, resolve disputes, provide reports, and maintain platform security.
Visibility and sharing
Runner Cards default to private. Related campaign businesses and authorized reviewers can access a runner’s card for their assignment. Runners can opt into visibility for signed-in marketplace users, or explicitly consent to a public profile link and photo. Hiding a card stops new public access; an already issued photo link can remain valid for up to one minute. Public profile reviews come from approved engagements; saved jobs and precise home zones stay private. Business profile descriptions, websites, cities and saved logos appear publicly with campaigns. Assignment evidence is shared with the campaign owner and authorized reviewers. Payment details are handled by Stripe; private files are stored with restricted access controls.
Location and photo controls
Precise assignment location and photo evidence is collected for assignment verification. Optional opportunity distance search uses browser permission and keeps the search point in the browser. Map view loads OpenStreetMap with an approximate campaign area; OpenStreetMap receives ordinary browser network information. Exact placement instructions remain restricted to accepted assignments. Do not upload unrelated people, private interiors, identification documents, or content outside the campaign brief.
Retention, access, and deletion
Operational and financial records may be retained as required for fraud prevention, disputes, tax, and legal compliance. Contact privacy@promo-run.com to request access, correction, or deletion subject to those obligations.
